Parker Turk comes to the home buying process with a unique background. Having a bachelor’s degree from a top 5 business school and a master’s degree in accountancy with an emphasis in taxation, Parker started his journey in finance with an excellent business foundation. After working for a few years with one of the largest and most prestigious accounting firms in the world, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Parker wanted to do what made him happy; help people buy homes with normal mortgage products, or stay in their homes and enjoy life with the assistance of Reverse Mortgages.
Parker continues to maintain his CPA designation and uses his all-things accounting and finance background daily to provide better service to his clients. He is passionate about the mortgage industry, specifically the reverse mortgage industry, where he loves to help people in the latter part of their lives become more financially secure. Being that Parker’s father Terry wrote the first reverse mortgage in the southwestern United States in 1989, Parker grew up understanding the pros and cons of reverse mortgages when most people his age knew nothing about them. He enjoys discussing each of his clients’ unique set of circumstances and counseling with them as to which reverse mortgage program is right for them, or if the program is right for them at all.
Parker is an active member of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association, and the AICPA. He understands the need for service and interaction in the industry. His passion for the mortgage and reverse mortgage industries are only surpassed by his love for spending time with his wife and two children. He also serves in the community and his church as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America.
Parker is never too busy to help people better understand the home buying
process or the reverse mortgage process!
